A play about why the Winnipeg General Strike of 1919 matters today.
A book of poetry leads an idealistic professor into the labyrinth of left-wing politics.  He finds Bill Pritchard, strike leader and socialist, charged with conspiring to overthrow the government of Canada.  He finds Sharon Stevenson, a working class poet:  "no models / no truths revealed / & still the system stares us down."  He finds himself sitting in an empty pool of light.

By the producers of the Fringe hit Misty Lake (FIVE STARS), the 1999 play that revealed the truth about residential schools.
Running time: 45 minutes.
